The Central Bank Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago recently acquired my favourite piece of work, “Fish Abundance”, for their permanent collection. The pieces are made of locally dug terra cotta clay, glazed and fired and assembled to form the mosaic. Size 4’x 3’. I like to think of earthy clay finding a place in the heart of the steel and concrete city of Port of Spain.
